I was super excited for my daughter to wear this dress for her first birthday. Upon opening the package the dress is very pretty until I looked closer. I noticed that the internal part of the dress was actually sewn inside out. The garment care label can be seen through the mesh, as well as the internal stitching. I thought it was just accidentally shipped inside out, but it’s definitely the way it was sewn. This dress is on clearance so I’m wondering if this is the reason. There is definitely an issue with quality control before shipments are sent out. Unfortunately, I had to find another dress for her birthday at another store. Seeing that garment care label bothered me so much.

It is not sewn inside out—this is actually the intended design to help keep the label from irritating delicate skin. If the label still feels bothersome, you’re welcome to carefully cut it off. Please know that whether an item is on clearance or is one of our bestselling pieces, we take quality control seriously and carefully inspect every dress before it’s shipped. We’re very sorry that this aspect of the design disappointed you and that you had to find another dress for such a special occasion.
